Cinnabon and Nestlé Launch Cinnamon-Flavored Nutritional Drink

Cinnabon partnered with Carnation Breakfast Essentials to create a nutritional drink with the same flavor as the company's famous cinnamon rolls.

Nestlé Health Science’s Carnation Breakfast Essentials has partnered with Cinnabon to launch a new Carnation Breakfast Essentials Cinnabon Bakery Inspired Flavored Nutritional Drink.

This nutritional beverage is 240 calories, contains 10 grams of protein and includes 21 vitamins and minerals while providing users with the famous flavors of Cinnabon’s cinnamon rolls.

Carnation Breakfast Essentials have offered families a fast and convenient way to meet their daily nutritional needs.

The original drink has 10 grams of protein and 20 percent or more of the Daily Value for 21 vitamins and minerals. This beverage is suitable for kids aged four years or older.

Some of the vitamins included in the drink include calcium and vitamin D to build strong bones, protein to help with muscle growth and bones, and vitamin C for an immunity boost.

“Carnation Breakfast Essentials believes that nutrient-rich breakfast options shouldn’t mean sacrificing taste. We’re thrilled to collaborate with Cinnabon to give families a new way to enjoy the flavor of a Cinnabon cinnamon roll, while still offering all of the protein, vitamins and minerals that families love about Carnation Breakfast Essentials,” said Abigail Buckwalter, vice president of marketing at Nestlé Health Science USA, in a statement.

Nestlé owns Nestlé Health Science, and they are known for their nutritional science innovations. They provide consumers, patients, and healthcare partners with new ways to embrace healthier lives through nutrition.

Cinnabon has not entered the nutritional beverage market before, but Carnation Breakfast Essentials has been around for 50 years.

Earlier in 2021, the brand collaborated with Kellogg’s and General Mills to launch a line of Fruit Loops, Krave, Frosted Flakes and Golden Grahams beverages to help children and teenagers get a head start on their nutritional needs, growth and development while enjoying a flavorful beverage.

“Our mission is to give fans access to our brands in new, innovative ways,” said Dave Mikita, president at FOCUS Brands Global Channels, the company’s licensing division, in the same statement.

“We’re excited to provide families with the delicious taste of a Cinnabon cinnamon roll through the convenience of a Carnation Breakfast Essentials ready-to-drink beverage that delivers both key nutrients and a flavorful breakfast experience,” Mikita continued.

The Carnation Breakfast Essentials Cinnabon Bakery Inspired Flavored Nutritional Drink comes in ready-to-drink bottles available at Walmart, Amazon and other stores nationwide starting this month.
