NABH to conduct 4-day dental healthcare service providers’ assessors’ training programme

The National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH) has announced four days dental healthcare service providers’ assessors’ training programme as per second edition of Dental Healthcare Service Providers Accreditation Standards between January 17 and January 20, 2023 in New Delhi.

Last Date to receive applications is December 24, 2022.

Eligibility Criteria for applying for Dental Assessor’s Course is Masters in Dental Surgery (MDS) with 10 years of experience or Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) with 12 years of experience, out of which at least 5 years of clinical experience in a dental healthcare facility.

Higher qualification in Dental clinical branches and experience of at least one year in implementation of NABH Accreditation standards in their organization will be preferred. Candidates with higher experience than the minimum will be preferred.

Participants should be proficient with the requirements of the NABH standards and the interpretation.

The four day course shall be conducted in onsite mode and the participant has to attend on all the four days. The training course involves interactive teaching and exercises. There would be an evaluation of the participants which includes daily monitoring of performance and a written examination on the last day.

“Successful participants would be considered for empanelment as NABH assessors. The fee for the training course is 20,000 + GST @ 18% (includes the cost of NABH standard and study material). Only shortlisted participants (as intimated) would be required to pay the fee online through pay now option available under training and education tab. The participants who could not qualify the post training examination in the previous courses may reapply subject to the fulfilment of laid down conditions,” according to an NABH circular.

NABH reserves the right to postpone, cancel and defer the event wholly or in part in case of an insufficient number of participants, organizational reasons, changes of availability of faculty or other unforeseeable circumstances.
