The Dutch startup used precision fermentation to create vegan casein, making it possible to replace cow’s milk in dairy products without losing flavor, texture or quality. In addition to milk, casein protein is found in a variety of dairy products including yogurt, cheese and infant formulas, as well as in a variety of dietary supplements.
