The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 11.54% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the UK’s pharma industry during June 2022 over May 2022.
AstraZeneca posted 18 IT jobs in June 2022 and registered a drop of 37.93% over the previous month, followed by Johnson & Johnson with 8 jobs and a 700% growth. GSK with 8 IT jobs and Bausch Health Companies with 7 jobs, recorded a 42.86% decline and a 12.5% decrease, respectively, while Eli Lilly and recorded a flat growth with 5 job postings during June 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 70.79%, down by 7.35% from May 2022. Mid Level positions with a 22.47% share, registered a decline of 4.76% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 6.74% share, down 14.29% over May 2022.
