And here is our regular feature in which we highlight a different person each week. This time around, we note that Harpoon Therapeutics hired Banmeet Anand as senior vice president, translational medicine. Previously, he worked at Molecular Templates, where he was vice president, head of nonclinical development and clinical pharmacology.
But all work and no play can make for a dull head of translational medicine. So in his spare time, Anand has been collecting vintage motorcycles. Although they can be pricey and require sufficient storage room, he now has three and, above all, treasures a fully restore BSA from the 1940s. “I’ve only ridden them once, because they’re not registered. There are no indicators on them. But I love old things, like love antiques, and I enjoy looking at them. I start them for every week and I to hear that old school engine noise.”
